Leadership and Social Transformation
Courses led by Jean Houston
We live in a time of profound, radical, whole system change.
The complexities entailed require a new kind of change agent, one who works from the inside-out and has developed the personal capacities required for the complex demands of effective leadership. Directed and taught by Jean Houston, these courses emphasize both the development of consciousness capacities and the integrated skills essential for change leaders.
Guided by Jean Houston and her work on Social Artistry, these courses educates leaders in the fields of human development and social change. The conventional divide between inner and outer learning is continually challenged, as students are encouraged and inspired to engage both, through project based learning. The courses emphasize both the development of personal capacities and the integrated skills essential for leading social and cultural transformation.
The Leadership and Social Transformation courses are available in both the Transformative Leadership and Psychology programs.
