Jason B.
MA in Counseling Psychology Student
Hear from Jason B., a MA in Counseling Psychology student, as he reflects on how
transformative learning at Meridian continues to open new viewpoints and lenses.
Through conversations with faculty and students, Jason describes how each
experience helps him evolve as a human being and better understand himself, the
people around him, and the community he is part of.
As a hybrid student, Jason appreciates the flexibility of online classes while
also finding deep value in coming to the Los Angeles campus, where in-person
classroom work helps him explore ideas more fully and get the most out of his
learning experience.
Jason shares that his professional plans continue to shift and become more
exciting as he discovers new possibilities through the program. For him,
Meridian is a place of continued growth, where the knowledge he gains makes the
journey all worth it.
“The online platform allows there to be students from all over the world, and so I have friends who are in my field now who are all over the world. And there’s something that feels embodied to me about that.”
