Welcome to the 2026 Commencement Ceremony

Join us for this special event at Meridian University's Los Angeles Campus to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our graduates. The ceremony will be an outdoor gathering where graduates will receive their diplomas. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration. Light refreshments will be provided at a reception after the ceremony.

2026 Commencement Event Details

4:00 PM: Graduate check in
4:30 PM: Guest seating opens
5:00 PM: Commencement ceremony begins
6:00–7:00 PM: Reception

Transportation and Parking

If you will be driving, metered street parking is available near the Los Angeles Campus, including nearby spaces on Stewart Street, Colorado Avenue, and 26th Street. The meters take coins, debit/credit cards, and Apple Pay.

Please allow extra time for parking, as Pennsylvania Avenue is currently affected by construction.

Public transportation and rideshare services are also available. The Metro E Line 26th St/Bergamot Station is located near campus.

Recommended Accommodation

Santa Monica offers a range of accommodations, from beachfront hotels to centrally located options and budget-friendly choices. These may all be found within a short rideshare, metro ride, or drive from campus.

Dress Code

The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass. The dress code for the ceremony is business casual attire, and comfortable shoes are recommended.

Guest Attendance

Students may invite up to 4 guests. Depending on availability, additional ticket requests may be considered after the initial deadline. University faculty, alumni and students are also invited and will need to RSVP ahead of the event.

Graduate Check-In

Graduates will be required to check in 30-minutes prior to the start of the ceremony in the Campus Library. This will be a time of reflection and preparation for the graduates.

Photo and video

There will be multimedia coverage of the event for the University marketing and archival purposes. Meridian University does not provide individual graduate portraits at the event, but guests are welcome to take photos and videos.

Security

The following items are prohibited on campus: weapons of any kind, alcohol or illegal substances, air horns, drones, and pets (with the exception of service animals).
