Ceremony 2026

Saturday, June 27, 2026 — Los Angeles Campus

Meridian University's 2026 Commencement Ceremony was held at the Los Angeles Campus in Santa Monica, celebrating the achievements of graduates from our Psychology, Business, and Education programs.

The ceremony was an outdoor gathering where graduates received their diplomas, with family and friends joining in the celebration. Light refreshments were served at a reception afterward.

The Day

Ceremony Schedule

4:00 PM: Graduate check-in
4:30 PM: Guest seating opened
5:00 PM: Commencement ceremony began
6:00–7:00 PM: Reception

The ceremony took place at Meridian University's Los Angeles Campus, 2450 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

Transportation and Parking

Metered street parking is available near the Los Angeles Campus, including nearby spaces on Stewart Street, Colorado Avenue, and 26th Street. The meters take coins, debit/credit cards, and Apple Pay.

Public transportation and rideshare services are also available. The Metro E Line 26th St/Bergamot Station is located near campus.

Accommodation

Santa Monica offers a range of accommodations, from beachfront hotels to centrally located options and budget-friendly choices. Dress Code

The ceremony was held outdoors on grass. The dress code was business casual attire, with comfortable shoes recommended.

Guest Attendance

Graduates were welcome to invite guests to attend the ceremony, confirming guest attendance in advance by emailing ctl@meridianuniversity.edu.

University faculty, alumni, and students were also welcome to attend, with an RSVP ahead of the ceremony.

Graduate Check-In

Graduate check-in began at 4:00 PM in the Campus Library — a time of reflection and preparation for the graduates.

Photo and Video

There was multimedia coverage of the event for University marketing and archival purposes. Meridian University does not provide individual graduate portraits at the event, though guests are welcome to take photos and videos.

Security

The following items are prohibited on campus: weapons of any kind, alcohol or illegal substances, air horns, drones, and pets (with the exception of service animals).
