The online learning format allows students to complete 100% of their degree requirements remotely from anywhere in the world. Grounded in a distinctive faculty-led model, Meridian’s dynamic online learning platform provides maximum flexibility while maintaining high levels of engagement.

Hybrid Format

Meridian’s hybrid learning format integrates online courses with in-person classes at the Los Angeles Campus. This format combines an innovative online learning approach with face-to-face engagement with faculty, staff, and peers while offering access to co-working spaces and campus resources.

Additional Learning Formats Information

  • Course availability: Course availability and format may vary by quarter, program, and degree. Students are encouraged to consult with their advisor each quarter for clarification before enrolling in classes.
  • Attendance Policy: Students in the hybrid format must meet the University’s attendance requirements for in-person classes by attending a sufficient percentage of classes in-person. Students in the online format must also meet attendance requirements, however such requirements allow students who did not attend a video class live to instead engage with the recording.
  • Minimum online courses: Students in the hybrid format engage in online work as part of each hybrid course. Additionally, all students take at least one course in the online format as part of their degree.
  • Resources available to students on campus: Access to the Los Angeles Campus outside of class time may vary based on University events and staff availability. Access to meet with staff and faculty and receive admissions advising on-campus is by appointment only.
