Online Participation

1. Terms

By accessing Meridian University websites (including but not limited to,, and participating in Meridian University events and sessions (including but not limited to those conducted through, Google Hangouts, Instant Teleseminar), you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Meridian sites or participating in Meridian programs, events, sessions and courses in any way. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

In this agreement the concepts of “website,” “session,” “services,” “system,” “content,” “program” and “course” are referred to by the words “website” and “services.” These words are used to describe content and services created or maintained by Meridian University. Additionally “Meridian” and “Meridian University” refer to Meridian University and its affiliates, and other organizations controlled directly or indirectly by Meridian.

2. Use License
  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Meridian's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
    • a. modify or copy the materials;
    • b. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
    • c. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Meridian's website;
    • d. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
    • e. transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.
  2. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Meridian at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
  3. By agreeing to these Terms you acknowledge and accept that website and live session content is recorded, archived, and may be shared and utilized at Meridian’s discretion.
3. Disclaimer

3.1 The materials on Meridian's website are provided 'as is'. Meridian makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Meridian does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

4. Limitations

In no event shall Meridian or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Meridian's Internet site, even if Meridian or a Meridian authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Meridian, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, subcontractors and other partners, and their respective officers, directors, agents, partners, employees and volunteers, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Meridian websites and services in violation of this Agreement, arising from a breach of this Agreement or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth in this Agreement, or any Content that you post on, through or in connection with Meridian’s websites and services.

5. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on Meridian's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Meridian does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Meridian may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. Meridian does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

6. Links

Meridian has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked sites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Meridian of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

7. Site Terms of Use Modifications

Meridian may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

8. Governing Law and Arbitration

As the exclusive means of resolving through adversarial dispute resolution any disputes arising out of this agreement, a party may demand that any such dispute be resolved by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and each party hereby consents to any such disputes being so resolved. Judgment on the award rendered in any such arbitration may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.


Any claim relating to this agreement and Meridian's website(s) shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceeding included but not limited to binding arbitration shall take place in Sonoma County, CA.

9. Member Disputes

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Users, third party developers or any other parties with whom you interact through the website. Meridian reserves the right, but has no obligation, to become involved in any way with these disputes.

10. Proprietary Rights in Content

Meridian University does not claim any ownership rights in the Content that you transmit, submit, display or publish (“post”) on, through or in connection with the Services or website. After posting your Content on, through or in connection with the Services, you continue to retain any such rights that you may have in your Content, subject to the limited license herein. By posting any Content on, through or in connection with the Services, you hereby grant to Meridian University a limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content solely on, through or in connection with the Services, including, without limitation, distributing part or all of the Services and any Content included therein, in any media formats and through any media channels. This limited license does not grant Meridian University the right to sell or otherwise distribute your Content outside of the Services. The license you grant to Meridian is non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, sublicensable, and worldwide. You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content or otherwise have the right to grant the license, and (ii) the posting of your Content on, through or in connection with the Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person or entity by reason of the use of any Content posted by you on or through the Services.

The Services also contain Content of Meridian University, its affiliates or licensors (“Meridian University Content”). Meridian University Content is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other laws, and we own and retain all rights in the Meridian website and Services.

11. Content Posted

Please choose carefully the information that you post on, through or in connection with Meridian websites and that you provide to other Users. You may not post any form of Prohibited Content, as outlined in Section 12 below. Despite this prohibition, information, materials, products or services provided by other Members may, in whole or in part, be unauthorized, impermissible or otherwise violate this Agreement, and Meridian assumes no responsibility or liability for this material. If you become aware of misuse of the Services by any person, please contact us immediately. Meridian may reject, refuse to post or delete any Content for any or no reason, including, but not limited to, Content that in our sole judgment violates this Agreement or our Online Forum Guidelines or which may be offensive, illegal or violate the rights of any person or entity, or harm or threaten the safety of any person or entity. Meridian assumes no responsibility for monitoring the Services for inappropriate Content or conduct. If at any time we choose, in our sole discretion, to monitor the Services, we nonetheless assume no responsibility for the Content, no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate Content, and no responsibility for the conduct of the User submitting any such Content. You are solely responsible for the Content that you post on, through or in connection with any of the Services, and any material or information that you transmit to other Members and for your interactions with other Users.

12. Content/Activity Prohibited

The following are examples of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited to post on, through or in connection with the Services. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the Meridian website or services temporarily or permanently without refunding fees paid to Meridian at any time if we have determined that they have violated any part of this agreement. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to, Content that, in our sole discretion: (a) is patently offensive or promotes or otherwise incites racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; (b) harasses or advocates harassment of another person; (c) exploits people in a sexual or violent manner; (d) contains nudity, violence, or offensive subject matter or contains a link to an adult website; (e) solicits or is designed to solicit personal information from anyone under 18; (f) publicly posts information that poses or creates a privacy or security risk to any person; (g) constitutes or promotes information that you know is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous; (h) constitutes or promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person’s copyrighted work; (i) involves the transmission of “junk mail,” “chain letters,” or unsolicited mass mailing, instant messaging, or “spamming”; (j) contains restricted or password only access pages or hidden pages or images; (k) furthers or promotes any criminal activity or enterprise or provides instructional information about illegal activities; (l) solicits or is designed to solicit passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other Users; (m) involves commercial activities and/or sales without prior written consent from Meridian such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes; (n) includes a photograph or video of another person that you have posted without that person’s consent; or (o) violates or attempts to violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark rights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.

Onsite Event Participation

By registering for and/or attending this event produced and/or sponsored by Meridian University and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, independent contractors or other corporations controlled directly or indirectly by Meridian University (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Meridian,”) you understand and agree to this Terms and Conditions document in its entirety. Hereinafter “You,” “Registrants,” “Participants,” or “Attendees” refers to anyone registering for or attending in any capacity a Meridian event.

All persons/organizations purchasing or accepting tickets (registering) as well as any persons not registering themselves but attending acknowledge and agree to the following restrictions and conditions as the criteria of being accepted to attend this event and understand that failure to comply with all parts of this document are cause for Meridian to refuse such persons and agents of such organizations entry to the event or eject them from this event without refund of fees paid. Meridian reserves the right to withhold refund of fees paid in the event that Meridian determines that these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to. You agree that Meridian has the right to make the determination that anyone attending the event including yourself or anyone attending on your behalf has failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Online Course and Event Removal

If Meridian University staff determine that a participant is disruptive to the course or event, the University reserves the right to withdraw the participant from the course and/or event.

Code of Conduct Policy

You agree that you will not harm or disrupt in any way any event produced by Meridian University and that your conduct will not include physical or emotional violence or harm in anyway towards participants, staff, presenters, conveners, etc at the event. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately and if necessary the authorities will be contacted. This code of conduct applies to electronic communications, uploaded files and other social media as well.

Registrant/Attendee Disputes Policy

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other registrants, attendees, or any other parties with whom you interact through or in relation to any Meridian events. Meridian reserves the right, but has no obligation, to become involved in any way with these disputes. Meridian is not responsible for the conduct of third parties and has no liability for the results of your interactions.

Child Attendance Policy

Children under 18 are not permitted at Meridian events.

Data Protection

By submitting registration details, participants agree to allow Meridian University to contact them regarding other events and programs.


It is the responsibility of all participants and speakers to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the event. Meridian University will not assume responsibility for loss of, theft of, or damage to participant's property. Meridian does not assume responsibility for any medical expenses for participants. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover health and travel for this period. Your insurance should also cover your inability to travel as Meridian University will not be liable in the event that you have paid for travel you are unable to take.

Plenary & Invited Speakers

Views expressed by speakers are their own. Meridian University cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at any event or in any material provided to participants.

Plenary & Invited Speakers’ Terms & Conditions

Meridian University will use the speaker’s name and affiliation for promoting attendance at the event.

Photography, Audio and Video

Photography, Recordings and filming of the event is strictly forbidden without the express consent of Meridian University. If such an incident occurs any people violating this policy may be asked to leave. Distributing, quoting or sharing any content of the event, whether verbally, electronically or printed is strictly prohibited without first seeking the approval of Meridian and anyone depicted or quoted in said content. This extends to Blogs, Tweets and other Social Networking Platforms.

Audio Visual Recordings Made by Meridian University

By registering for this event or agreeing to be a speaker/facilitator of this event, you agree to fully release Meridian University to make audio-visual recordings of your image and/or voice and distribute such recordings as deemed appropriate by Meridian. You agree that you will not be compensated in anyway, at any time, for this perpetual license.

Refunds & Cancellations

All refund requests must be received in writing (by email or postal mail) at least one week (7 days) in advance of an event in order to receive a refund. Cancellations received at least one week (7 days) in advance will be charged a $20 processing fee. Refund requests received less than one week (7 days) before an event are non-refundable.

Refund Processing

Meridian will only refund fees paid direct to Meridian University. Refunds will be authorised and sent for processing within 10 business days of receiving a refund request.

Event Cancellation

Should any events sponsored by Meridian University be jeopardised due to unforeseen circumstances, such as but not limited to:

  • Terrorism (including threat)
  • War
  • Major weather conditions
  • Country borders closing
  • Earthquake
  • Presenter illness or emergency

Meridian will find an alternative venue if possible. Should a situation occur where Meridian University must postpone the event (determined at Meridian University’s discretion), your registration fee will be transferred to the new date of the event.

Should Meridian cancel this event, the maximum amount owed to you will be the registration fees you paid to Meridian for this specific event.

Travel Arrangements

You are required to secure your own travel arrangements.This is not the responsibility of Meridian University or any individuals associated with this event. Meridian is not liable for any costs associated with your travel arrangements under any circumstance even if the event is cancelled.


It is your responsibility to obtain an entry visa to visit a country if it is required.

Meridian University website may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which Meridian University takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website. Use of these sites is at your own risk and Meridian University does not assume responsibility.

By attending the event and filling in a feedback form, you agree that Meridian University may use your feedback and opinions on the ‘Testimonial’ webpage of the Meridian University Website. If your feedback is ‘Negative’ we will not edit your opinions to select and include any ‘Positive’ comments which unfairly reflect your views.

  1. When we communicate with you we will generally do so by email or via phone. You agree that email and phone communications are contractually binding in the same way as properly signed and dated documentation sent by post.
  2. Nothing in this agreement or on our websites, or any website owned, operated, licensed or controlled by Meridian University, shall confer on any third party any benefit or obligation.
  3. If any of these terms is at any time held by any jurisdiction to be void, invalid or unenforceable, then it shall be treated as changed or reduced, only to the extent minimally necessary to bring it within the laws of that jurisdiction and to prevent it from being void and it shall be binding in that changed or reduced form. Subject to that, each provision shall be interpreted as severable and shall not in any way affect any other of these terms.
  4. No waiver by us, in exercising any right, power or provision in this agreement shall operate as a waiver of any other right or of that same right at a future time; nor shall any delay in exercise of any power or right be interpreted as a waiver.
  5. In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or any contract between you and us, then you agree to attempt to settle the dispute by engaging in good faith with us in a process of mediation.
  6. We are not liable for any breach of our obligations resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
  7. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, and all international governance is expressly excluded.
  8. You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions when you proceed with the registration process

Please note that Meridian University maintains the right to remove add or modify the Terms and Conditions as set out with or without notice.
